Documenting the Crimes of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Statement of the Iranian March in Tbilisi

We, a group of freedom-seeking and patriotic Iranians, have gathered in Tbilisi to condemn the crimes of the Islamic Republic against the people of Iran — a government that for years has tried to silence the voice of the Iranian nation through repression, violence, and organized killing. Systematic repression, mass arrests, torture, and killings — especially against young people — have continued, and in the ongoing national uprising that we call the “Lion and Sun Revolution,” more than 50,000 Iranians have lost their lives due to live ammunition and deadly crackdowns. These killings have been carried out with reliance on internal repressive forces and imported proxy groups. We openly condemn these crimes. The blood of the fallen will neither be forgotten nor left unanswered. What is happening in Iran is not a temporary protest; it is the uprising of a nation reclaiming its country, freedom, human dignity, and the right to choose. Iranian protesters inside and outside the country have chosen Prince Reza Pahlavi as a symbol of a national alternative and as an option for the transitional period and leadership of this path — a figure who has managed to unite a broad spectrum of opponents of the Islamic Republic around a shared direction. Our message to the world is clear: The people of Iran seek fundamental change — a change toward freedom, human rights, and a more stable future for Iran and the region. Our demands from the Government of Georgia Recognize the leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi as the leader of this revolution. Stand with the people of Iran, not with the oppressors. Provide no platform or diplomatic legitimacy to representatives of the Islamic Republic. Officially declare moral and humanitarian support for the Iranian people's right to freedom. Restrict influence channels and financial resources linked to the Islamic Republic. Reduce diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic and take action toward expelling its diplomats from Georgian soil. This march is a peaceful yet firm movement for Iran’s future. We have come for a free future. Iran belongs to the people of Iran, and this nation will reclaim its destiny. We continue. Long live Iran. Long live the Shah.
